It's a great DLC- but the only way to truly experience it is by joining a regiment.
If you like charging into battle with horses in an online(&-only) 50-60 army vs an artillery/musket sniping 50-60 army that's sometimes organised by admin then you're likely normal and likely willing to buy this game especially if on sale. If not, then you should know when to stop reading this tbh.Note: equipment varies on map and you may have to deal with a fun-spoiling admin(occasionally). Sales are fantastic as I got this for $2-3 from the 2016 summer sale.Also please tell me of a good group to join please.

One of the best mods I have ever played, immense amounts of fun. It appears this is what killed the native servers, so Napoleon actually has a decent amount of active players. Much more fun and engaging than the native game, but thats just my opinion (I'm very bias towards historical shooters).Incredible game, would recommend highly over the other mods, despite a lack of singleplayer campaign.PS. Don't play on Minisiege, it's the worst video game server I have ever seen. I was permabanned for saying the word &sharpshooter&, not an ounce of exaggeration. The server owner and admins are easily the most sensitive and easily triggered individuals I have ever had the mispleasure of playing with online.

Probably the best DLC I have paid money for. The one game you can play on servers and it be just as fun be hold up in a building as a musician as it would be to actually fight
