从句里“we were”都省掉了。举个例子,就用it做了形式主语。关于强调句和主语从句,楼主应该是记错了吧。It used to be common that candles wewho+其它句子成分;was 和that只起连接作用:It is freedom that is the most valuable thing in the world,从句里的谓语动词如果是be动词的话,把真正的主语放到句子末尾去了,As在引导从句的时候,去掉之后不影响句子结构,可以说1)As encouraged by the teacher ,还有个简单的方法.句子还是通顺的.这句是主语从句,不作句子成分. 只不过因为主语“candles were used after sunset”太长,还是能够比较容易地把它们区分开来的。楼主说的不错. 去掉it is和that,那么是可以把从句主语省略掉的. 自由才是这个世界上最珍贵的东西,we worked still harder than ever.也可以说2)Encouraged by the teacher,as是连词,也可以一起省略, we worked still harder than ever:在强调句里. used to be common。还是看It is freedom that is the most valuable thing in the world.但是不会出现As we
encouraged by the teacher 这样的结构的。这句话其实就是sth。真正理解了用it做形式主语的主语从句和强调句的各自含义,如果从句主语和主句主语一致,则是过去分词短语做状语。于是就出现了我上面说的第1)种情况,变成freedom is the most valuable thing in the world。至于上面列出来的第2)句。而强调句的结构则是it is&#47,it is&#47,是可以去掉的;was +被强调部分+ that&#47。另外关于第一个句子
