What the developers have to say:
Why Early Access?
&Steam early access will provide a useful platform to help gage the popularity and effectiveness of the game at its current and future stages of development.&
Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?
&Its difficult to place a timescale on a full release, as a minimum when the planned improvements are complete and relatively stable, approximately 1 year.&
How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?
&There are a number of planned improvements for the game, including additional game mode(s), levels, and friendly AI improvements. The possibility of workshop support for community levels is also being considered.&
What is the current state of the Early Access version?
&Many of the game mechanics are complete including: dynamic spawning, level variances, one touch weapons / equipment, player classes and more. Currently one game mode is fully playable.&
Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?
&The game will remain free to play.&
How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?
&As improvements are implemented, an opt in experimental (beta) branch could be used for bug reporting / feedback from the community, the results of which will eventually form the final release. Workshop support is also being considered which would enable community made maps to be included within the game.&

About This Game
Codename CURE is a first person, co-operative zombie game with support for up to five players, providing immersive, fast-paced zombie fragging with fully dynamic and objective-based missions.
As a team of special military operatives utilising a range of powerful weapons and equipment (assault rifles, shotguns, sentry guns, supply chests and more), players are tasked with curing infected areas of a post-apocalyptic world by planting controlled explosives before pulling a short sharp exit.
CURE can be played both on and offline, with or without computer controlled team mates. The game sports a variety of difficulty options which adapt dynamically with the number of players. It includes five balanced player classes: Pointman, Support, Assault, Technician and Sniper.

Early Access Review
If you're cure-ious about this game, it' although it doesn't have much to offer. Well, that's because it's an Early Access game currently. Thus there will be more content implemented later on (hopefully). Yet it seems Codename CURE is being produced by one person.I'm going to start with what's wrong with the game first, from my personal experience:-Since it's in
Early Access, there isn't too much to offer.-Servers are scarce, and for what servers are available, most of them are local to their hosts. And for what server I do manage to join, my connection isn't all too well.-While there are five characters with their own unique set of abilities, two certain weapons are present twice: the shotgun, and a pistol for the Technician, and the Support class.-Allegedly, the assests used to produce this game have been stolen from other sources. I do not know if this is true.-There are only four maps in the game. (Though, this is still Early A and Community Workshop is being considered (for maps), so they say)-The music that notifies you, &Hey, horde inbound!& doesn't last too long. Which sucks, because it's enjoyable.-The AI companions never randomise. It's always a Sniper, Pointman, and Assault.-The image displayed unter the &Community Hub& button, is kind of a turn away for me, but, what the hell. I didn't make the game.-Only one gametype thus far.I'd personally like to have a survival mode. This game seems suitable for it.Now, unto what's good about Codename CURE:-Gunplay is nice and smooth, all shots fired meet where I pointed them.-The maps' dynamic encounters (such as the breaking bridge, and explosive barricades) are neat and fun to see.-The addition of AI controlled friendlies makes the replayability jump up. It's also cool that you may disable them. It's also great that they follow you, never letting you stray from the team.-The music offered is nice to listen to. After you've planted the bomb and are fleeing, once the timer reaches &0:59& the music plays. It then picks up when time is about 10 seconds remaining, and speeds up when the times reaches 3 seconds left.-The exhilaration of making into the safety zone is quite magnificent, especially on the harder difficulties.-The game feels like a blend of Counter-Strike, Left 4 Dead 2 and Half-Life 2. (I could care less about Half-Life though)-Requirements aren't demanding, thus making it playable, and enjoyable on lower end PC's.-The load time is pretty fast, even to online servers.-No microtransactions, a Play To Win!Codename CURE is strangely more fun than it seems, despite the same four maps. It is definately worth trying, I mean. It's a Free To Play, so there isn't anything for you to lose. Except maybe a couple gigabytes. Go ahead, grab a friend, and go play this game.
