　　举世闻名的环法自行车赛1903年起源于两家报社--《机动车报》和《自行车报》(l'Auto 和 le Vélo)的竞争。当时《机动车报》的编辑亨利·德斯格朗吉(Henri Desgrange)决定要组织一项“世界上最重要的自行车比赛!”于是在1903年的7月1日第一届环法自行车赛诞生了。
　　近日 2014 年环法自行车赛再次拉开帷幕，而这款官方作品也就应运而生了，继2007年之后，环法赛再次在英国举行，英国各界都表示了欢迎。在游戏中，各大主要比赛地点都没有漏掉，画风和 UI 设计方面和 2013 差不多，只是稍稍有了一点点改动，当然地图赛段之类的变化最大。
