《迷你赛车》(Mini Motor Racing)与著名的《》同样采用俯视角度，画面采用全3D引擎，在高清屏下细节清晰，立体感表现较为出色。与《死亡拉力》略带阴暗和重金属的画风截然不同，该游戏的赛车与场景都非常可爱明亮，那些迷你型小车让人一眼看上去就喜欢。
对于新接触这种特殊类型赛车游戏的玩家来说《迷你赛车》(Mini Motor Racing)的操作方式比较难上手，需要一定时间来适应。幸好游戏提供了四种不同的操作方式供玩家选择，使不同玩家可以找到自己顺手的操作方式。同时也提供是否开启自动加速和反转操作。
不同速度下稍微改变方向，会带来各种不同的后果，车子的运动细节也刻画得非常仔细，让小编想起前段时间同样拥有优秀物理引擎表现的。游戏的速度感几乎感觉不到，除非你使用加速瓶，重点都在弯道的处理上，处理得好，稍微打个方向就能过去了，处理得一般般的话，也可以勉强的扭过去，要是过弯太急或者进弯的时候速度过快，就很有可能出现打转或者翻车事故了。在冲撞上的物理惯性也很强烈，在道上开得好好的突然被别的车撞一下，很可能就不知偏到哪个方向去了，表现最明显的是由起点马上进入第一个弯道的话，那简直就是一场碰碰车比赛有木有。
在生涯模式里面有非常多杯赛，玩家必须完成一个才能解锁下一个。杯赛页面显示了圈数、玩家之前取得的成绩以及获胜后可取得的奖金。奖金可用于购买和升级各种可爱的小车。升级选项包括操控性、氮气瓶数量、加速性能和最高速度。
总的来说《迷你赛车》(Mini Motor Racing)提供了与以往赛车游戏不一样的感受，小车的运动细节及撞击感刻画得非常细腻，同时可爱的小车与场景都非常吸引(其中一个杯赛的场景与音效很特别，请玩家自行体验)。但因为上手操作难度比较高，只有深入游戏一段时间后才能真正体验游戏的乐趣。
